2019 Napa Valley Syrah

Opaque/inky in the glass. Redolent with a meaty plum and brown sugar core haloed by sweet lavender, blackberry jam and chocolate. Plush and juicy on the palate with dusty plum, cocoa, fresh blackberry and a pretty anise notes but well-structured with chewy, hillside tannins coated in rich black fruit. The finish is very long, echoing with dark fruit and seasoned oak. Fabulous.
