Lot 495 is an estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon with a beautiful Bordelaise heart and New World stylings. We can’t reveal the exact varietal percentages, but the artfully crafted Cabernet core radiates with that signature Alexander Valley balance of power and elegance, while light touches of Malbec, Merlot, and Petit Verdot add complexity and depth - a beauty that’s truly imbued with the soul of the region.

Welcoming aromas of cedar, baking spice, dark berries, eucalyptus, and plum sauce rise from the glass, haloed by graphite and crushed rock. The palate delivers a rustic charm, with dark fruit, turned soils, and clay pot framed by medium acidity and grippy, deftly-integrated tannins. The finish is long, filled with crushed violets, berry coulis, delicate barrel spice, vanilla blossom, and earth. Sumptuous.
