Fully integrated on the palate, incredible structure, and juicy, dark red fruits are framed by good acidity and grippy, plush tannins. The wine is still a touch youthful, however, waiting to fully unfold. The finish is dry and resonant with red-to-black fruit and dried herbs that carry on with great length amidst flecks of vanilla."
Lot 485 | 2023 Monterey County Pinot Noir
"On the nose, aromas of rose petal, raspberry coulis, and mushrooms are accented by dried strawberries and forest floor. Upon entry, cherries and strawberry sauce intermingle with dried leaves, framed by balanced acidity and small, crushed tannins. A long, dynamic finale begins with a spiced wave, settling into red berries and a kiss of vanilla before rose hips and vanilla bean overtake the umami."

" On the nose, cherries and plums are interwoven with cocoa shavings, crushed violets, vanilla bean, and garrigue. A balanced entry with further cherries and plums is kissed by baking spice and new leather dusted by potting soils, all set against medium acidity and crushed, velvety tannins. A medium-length finish is immediately uplifted with cherries, vanilla blossoms and a kiss of spice."
