2022 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

This is an extremely cared for wine: 100% single-vineyard source Pinot Noir, 10% whole cluster, made from Pommard, Calera, and Dijon 828 clones with 20% new French oak for 12 months in Burgundy barrels. Our source for this offer isn’t chasing scores; they're too busy making wine.

Strawberry, cherry and cola practically leap out of the glass while rose, dragon fruit, and potpourri are bedded underneath, all haloed by classic Red Vines licorice and spice. The palate is wrapped in baby fat that unwinds with some air revealing strawberry coulis, cherries, tobacco leaf, and dried leaves framed by medium+ acidity accenting fresh foraged mushroom umami and small, polished tannins. The finish is barrel-kissed with vanilla and spice carrying waves of plum sauce and rose hips. While youthful today, the structure is here to go a decade+ onwards.
