Lot 426 is a blend of Alexander Valley and Dry Creek skillfully interwoven with a single-vineyard Oak Knoll expression creating an elegant yet bold, balanced yet daring value Cab that comes to us from an established family winery in the valley. Add in a solid French oak regimen and you get the perfect accents to the beautiful acidity of the Sonoma fruit wrapped around the structure and silkiness Oak Knoll is renowned for.

Dark in the glass with a very inviting nose of ripened cassis berries, blue-to-black fruit, and plum sauce reduction with a halo of dried herbs and green peppercorns. The entry is sultry with exceptional structure and acidity framed by perfectly integrated tannins showing a more terroir lean of fresh turned soils and river stones backed by further blue and black fruits. The finish is very refined for this price point with a touch of uplifted spice before settling into crushed florals and vanilla umami waves.
