2018 Napa Carneros Pinot Noir

Deep garnet in the glass. The aromas are almost fully-knit together as the wine approaches two-months in bottle with black cherry and wild strawberry aromas haloed with rose petals and dried herbs. Soft and silky on entry with pretty red fruits arrayed over mineral-laced tannins that have excellent length. This Pinot has a terrific, elegant structure and, being a 2018, is drinking great now and will grow even more nuanced over the next 5-7 years.
